French International defender Lucas Digne has reportedly submitted transfer request in order to force in a move to Liverpool.

PSG Manager Laurent Blanc has confirmed that Lucas Digne has asked the club to let him go in case any club inquires about the availability of the player. With Maxwell preferred ahead of Lucas Digne in the left flank of the Defense, the youngster is seeking playing time elsewhere from Paris. Despite playing well in the international arena, Digne is not getting much playing time under Blanc.

Even though he has handed in a transfer request, the discipline of player in pre-season has been good and the coach leveled him as a great professional gesture. The 22 year old defender is said to be interested in a Premier League move and Liverpool are preparing for a bid. With Jose Enrique’s days long gone and Alberto Moreno the only regular left back, the French international is expected to put up a tough fight.
