Stoke City complete shock transfer of Xherdan Shaqiri from Inter Milan for £12million.

Inter Milan have sold Swiss International midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri to English Premier League outfit Stoke City for  £12 million.

Stoke City have opened up transfer window with one of the most surprising deals by signing Xherdan Shaqiri from Inter Milan on a  £12 million deal. According to Sky Italia, the clubs have agreed on a fee and the personal terms will soon be finalized.

Shaqiri, who starred in 2014 edition of FIFA World Cup held in Brazil played for FC Bayern Munich a season ago. The transfer to Inter Milan did not turn out to be well and he made just handful appearance there. Shaqiri joins the likes of Bojan Krkic, who previously played for FC Barcelona, AC Milan and AS Roma. Mark Hughes is looking to make few more signings as Stoke look to better their premier league finish in upcoming season.
