Chelsea nearing transfer of Ateltico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan

Turkish International Arda Turan is set to join Chelsea as Mourinho eyes swoop for Atleti midfielder.

Jose Mourinho is set to add Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid to his squad for the news season as he looks to strengthen his squad following Premier League triumph last term. Chelsea won the Premier League and League Cup and are now aiming for a better Champions League run. Chelsea signed Juan Cuadrado on January window but the midfielder failed to perform and could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

Turan is said to be positive about the move and Chelsea will fulfill his all demands in case the clubs agree upon a fee for the left footed midfielder. Turkish International Arda joined Atleti on 2011 after spending 11 years at Galatasaray. The 28 year old midfielder has already won 81 caps for the national team with 13 goals to his name. Turan’s former teammate Radamel Falcao is also rumored to join Chelsea on loan from AS Monaco.
