Real Madrid were prepared to sell Sergio Ramos to Manchester United but the turn of events has changed the scenario and it is understood that the defender could extend his contract at Real Madrid. With 35 million pounds bid rejected and Manchester united preparing another bid, Sergio Ramos has turned his head and is soon to sign a new contract.

With Rafael Benitez appointed as the head coach and the Spanish manager trying to make a best squad, holding onto prized asset has been top priority. David De Gea has been looked as one of the top targets but Manchester United are asking at least 35 million pounds which is stalling the further talks. In case the clubs agree fees, it is believed that the Spanish International goalkeeper will agree terms to make a move back to Madrid.
