Former FIFA Executive Committee member Chuck Blazer has admitted that he took bribe in order to hand 2010 and 1998 World Cup hosting rights while he was in position at the governing body.

Chuck Blazer, former FIFA Ex-Co Member and General Secretary of CONCACAF plead guilty in 10 charges made back in 2013. After the full transcript of the US hearing in 2013 was released, there might be some links between the events which was engulfed in between Blatter and the bribery deals. The FBI has suspected bribery of over $150m in the 24 year period (between 1991-2015) in order to secure FIFA right hosts.

The series of events just before the election was held in Zurich has now taken over a new angle as Jack Warner has also broken his silence over the events. The Trinidad and Tobago politician who was also President of CONCACAF in that period was taken into custody by Police but was released on bail a day later.
