Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has been named in the Copa America squad to represent Argentina in the tournament to be held in Chile from next month.
Messi is set to captain the side.
Lionel Messi will lead the team in the Copa America as there have been some returning figures in the team. Javier Pastore and Carlos Tevez will play for Argentina having missed out on World Cup squad in 2014.
Premier League players Erik Lamela, Pablo Zabaleta, Martin Demicheles, Marcos Rojo and Angel Di Maria are joined by League’s top scorer Sergio Aguero.
