West Ham qualify for UEFA Europa League via Fair Play

West Ham have won a place in UEFA Europa League qualifying stages after finishing at the top of English Premier League’s fair play table. According to the rule, three country will be awarded a place in qualifiers according to the UEFA Fair Play table and England were amongst the three clubs at the top. Netherlands and Ireland are the other two nations to be rewarded with a spot.

Liverpool are at the top of EPL Fair Play standings but the Merseyside based club have already qualified for the Europa League after finishing sixth in the league table. Either Southampton or Aston Villa will play the Europa League as well. Villa will need to win the FA Cup, to be played against Arsenal in Wembley while Saints will progress only if Villa fail to win.
