Manchester United finished third in the league table despite a slow start in the early phase and LVG has already kept an eye on further reinforcements to arrive in the summer.

When Louis Van Gaal arrived in the summer, Manchester United were off a poor season with David Moyes and much was expected from the dutch manager. Despite the poor start, Van Gaal finished the season on a high and will be looking to replicate the success in following season too. For better performance, LvG will surely add up some reinforcements in the squad and let some players leave the club as well.

The signing of PSV youngster Memphis Depay has been confirmed and having played for the dutch manager in world cup already, Depay will be used wisely in the team. Manchester United are also in need of a striker after Radamel Falcao’s return from loan to AS Monaco. The Colombian forward scored just four goals in the league despite making 26 appearances with 14 starts. As per the rumor, United are said to be monitoring Edinson Cavani’s situation in PSG and could make a move in days to come.

Also, another major part of a worry is the defense line for Van Gaal. With Valencia playing 32 matches as a right back, Van Gaal certainly will eye on a world class right back. Dani Alves of FC Barcelona might be an ideal choice as the Brazilian right back is a free agent and could be lured by the wage demands being met by the Manchester based club. United are also eyeing a move for a center back and Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels and Valencia’s Nicolas Otamendi’s name has come front. United will need to cough up as much as 30 million pounds for either of these player.

With some incomings in the team, there should be an equal balance of outgoing players and Jonny Evans might be first of few to make their exit from Old Trafford. The Northern Irish defender played 14 games this season and all because the first choice players were injured.
