Brazil have announced squad for Copa America with some surprise inclusions in the squad.

Brazil announces squad for Copa America: Oscar axed while Coutinho and Casemiro included

Chelsea midfielder duo Oscar and Ramires have been axed from the Brazilian squad for the upcoming Copa America as their teammates Willian and Filipe Luis have managed to get their name on the list. Tottenham Hotspur’s midfielder Paulinho has also failed to get his name on the squad while Real Madrid’s on loan midfielder Casemiro has successfully has his name. His team-mate Danilo, who is set to join Real Madrid later this year is also named in the squad. Marcelo is also named in the 23 men team.

AS Monaco fullback Fabinho is surprise inclusion along with Filipe Luis as the Chelsea defender has seen few minutes on the pitch. PSG trio David Luiz, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos complete the defenders along with Miranda of Atlteico Madrid.

In the striking front, Fred has been dropped and Douglas Costa of Sakhtar is joined by Roberto Firmino of Hoffenheim. Diego Tardelli is named in the squad with former AC Milan striker Robinho. Barcelona forward Neymar will lead the squad.
