As season nears to the end, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are toe to toe on goal department.

Lionel Messi has scored 35 league goals this season as Barcelona stand and at the top of the table in Spanish league. Despiter Real Madrid being second on the league behind Barcelona, Ronaldo has been in top form lately and leads the goalscoring charts with 39 goals. Ronaldo has played just 29 games compared to Lionel Messi’s 32.

The competiton betwen the players is not only in the goals department but also in assists. Messi has managed 16 assits while Ronaldo has found his teammates two times lesser than Messi on 14. Messi has managed 4.8 shots on average while Ronaldo has bettered it by nearly 2 times per game with 6.4.

On total, Messi has scored 46 goals and 20 assists. He has scored 8 goals in Champions League and 3 in Copa Del Rey. Ronaldo has equal 8 goals in Champions League but found net only once in the Copa Del Rey.
