Manchester City’s title bid looks fading away after Sergio Aguero looking bleak in attack

Sergio Aguero

In the last four Premier League matches Manchester City have played, Sergio Aguero has not scored any goal. City have gone to loose 2 of those matches and are now six points behind the leaders with a game more than Chelsea. Sergio Aguero has bagged 17 goals in 22 starts and 3 substitute appearances. However, he has scored just 3 goals in last 8 games and has blanked in last four matches.

David Silva is the second top scorer for City and he has scored 11 goals in 24 appearances. Silva is used as Left sided attacking midfield often but was used as a center forward in start of the 2015 after all strikers picked up injuries. Manuel Pellegrini has added Wilfried Bony to his squad, the striker had brilliant scoring record at Swansea but has just scored one for City. Edin Dzeko also looks out of touch as he has just 4 goals to his name in 10 starts and 10 substitute appearance. Stefan Jovetic has 5 goals in 9 matches with 8 subs appearances.
