Sadio Mane turning the tides for Ronald Koeman and Southampton

Senegalese International Sadio Mane joined Southampton from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2014, since then he has been talk of the town along with fellow new signings. After departure of Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren, all of whom were integral part of the squad under Mauricio Pochettino, Koeman was left with big job to rebuild the squad and he did it very well with new reinforcements.

Mane has already scored six goals in 20 league appearances for Southampton this season. He also has two assists to his name while playing as a winger. His adaptability adds up an extra dimension to the squad and with lots of injuries to deal with, Mane has been a gem for Koeman. Mane has played as Left forward for much part and is considered lethal in the same position. He failed to get match time with Senegal in AFCON after suffering from injury and made just 2 appearances.
