Lucas Silva continues to start for Real Madrid as Modric’s return nears

When Carlo Ancelotti signed Lucas Silva on January, only few of us would have expected the Brazilian’s involvement in the first team straight away. Lucas Silva has already made four appearances for Real Madrid with 3 of them coming in league and three as starters including 90 minutes action against Schalke in his UEFA Champions League debut. However, he might not get the regular starting spot so son with Luka Modric waiting to make his return from the injury. Madrid have not lost any of the matches Silva has been involved in.

Luka Modric is expected to make his comeback from injury in this week’s league encounter against Atheltic Bilabo. The Croatian international has been out for few months now and his comeback will make team a stronger force than they are now. He might not get his starting spot back just yet due to precautions, so till the Lucas Silva can enjoy his life as a starter in the Bernabau.
