Real Madrid look to be back on track on their league campaign after seeing off Getafe, after their Copa Del Rey crashing out.

Real Madrid look like they are back on winning ways after beating Getafe in Liga BBVA encounter away from home. Carlo Ancelotti put out a strong lineup with Pepe being replaced by Raphael Varane from the cup game aganst Atletico Madrid. Iker Casillas also started the game instead of Keylor Navas who had a bad game in Santiago Bernanbau as Fernando Torres’ brace knocked Real Madrid out of Copa Del Rey.

Real Madrid were stronger team in the starting phase as they pushed for a goal but failed to find it. The real chance came for Real Madrid just as the half time approached. Toni Kroos shot from the edge of the box rattled the crossbar after Gareth Bale produced the pass. Both the teams went goal-less into the half.

The second half started as the first one ended as Real Madrid continued to press for goal. The breakthrough came 15 minutes from the restart as Cristiano Ronaldo tapped in a brilliant pass from Karim Benzema. The move started from Cristiano and ended with him as there were four players involved in the move and the french striker was brilliant with the final pass, which the World’s Best player would never miss.

The lead soon doubled after yet another eye-catching move from the World Champions. James Rodriguez’s cross from the left wing was brilliantly placed into the goal by onrushing Gareth Bale from the right wing. Bale’s exquisite touch was enough to beat the goalkeeper and put the game out of Getafe’s reach.

Ronaldo trebled the lead with just twelve minutes remaining in the match as he timed his run perfectly to head in James Rodriguez’s inviting cross inside the six yard box. Ronaldo scored his 28th goal of the season with a brilliant heading from in between the two defenders.
