The Bangladesh League champions that defeated defending champions MMC 2-1 in extra time in the semifinals defeat Pune FC in the finals to be crowned as the Bhutan King’s cup champions.
Pune FC’s only defeat in the tournament confirmed them as the runner ups of the tournament.

Meanwhile Nepal league champions Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marsyangdi club return Kathmandu after their defeat to champions in the semifinals.
MMC entered semifinals as the group runner ups below Pune FC in the group, and were 2-1 down to champions Sheikh Jamal in the extra time in the semifinals after the regulation time ended as a 1-1 draw.
