Bangladesh Premier League champions Sheikh Jamal crash defending champions Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marsyangdi club out of the tournament as they enter final defeating MMC 2-1.
Although MMC took the lead in second half through Aba’s goal in the 54th minute, they could not hold onto it conceding two goals later in the game. They concede 84th minute equalizer that takes the match to the 30 minutes of extra time. Shakhawat Hossain Rony scored the equalizer for the victorious side.
Gambian forward Landing Darboe scored in the first minute of the extra time which remained the decisive goal of the match.
MMC enjoyed numerical advantage 10 minutes before the end of the extra time as midfielder Sohel Rana was shown second yellow card, however 10 men Jamal could hold onto the led to confirm their place in the final.
