Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marsyangdi club register a 5-1 victory against Bhutanese side Ugyen Academy, to make their chances stronger for qualification to the knock out stage of the King’s cup football as the defending champions await Pune FC vs Abahani Limited result.

Shiva Shrestha opened the score for the defending champions while Dodoz double inspired MMC to victory where Anil Gurung and Aba added one goal each.

MMC got the lead in the 24th minute when Shiva Shrestha found the net for the blues before Dodoz doubled 12 minutes later in 36th minute as the half time score remained 2-0.

Anil Gurung, Dodoz and Aba added a goal each in the second half to make the scoreline 5-0 before Ugyen scored a consolation through spot kick to deny MMC clean sheet.
