The two times runner ups Nepal start their journey in the tournament with a 8-0 victory over Bhutan. Deepa Adhikari, Sanjana Lama and Captain Anu Lama scored two goals each for the victorious side, meanwhile Menuka Giri and Sabitra Adhikari scored a piece.
With the victory, Nepal step forward to the next round as the top and the second team from the group make it to the semi finals in the eight team tournament. Nepal will play against hosts Pakistan on Friday, 14th November.
Pakistan started their journey in the tournament with a 1-2 defeat to Sri Lanka, that remains other team of the group in a tournament played at Islamabad.
