Real Madrid came from a goal behind to see off Barcelona in a 3-1 victory followed by their 4-1 victory over Cornella in the Copa del Rey.

However Granada come from a poor recent result as they have failed to gather a victory in their last five matches. They seek for a victory to see themselves at the to half of the table, however the task sounds highly unlikely as they take on Real Madrid that is unbeaten in their last 10 matches.

Real Madrid has registered 7 victories including their 3-1 victories against Barcelona in their nine league matches so far this season and lost two which keeps them third in the league table beneath Barcelona and Sevilla that remains in the second spot. Meanwhile Getafe stands 12th, unable to win any of their last five matches.

Head to Head

Out of their five recent meetings, Real Madrid has been able to win four matches, while Granada’s last victory against Madrid in their past five meeting came only in February, 2013. Granada has only scored twice in their past five meetings and conceded eight.

Recent Form

Undoubtedly the home side has struggled in their last five matches loosing four of them and having tied up in their last match against Eibar. Meanwhile Real Madrid has been impressive scoring 20 in their last five matches, registering clean sheet in three and conceding two, one of which was against Barcelona.
