ANFA bids Farewell to National Team

All Nepal Football Association bade farewell to Nepal National team travelling Doha, Qatar for a friendly match against Philippines on October 31.

ANFA’s acting president Lalit Krishna Shrestha in the presence of Nepal sports council member secretary Yubraj Lama baded farewell to the departing team.

“We have good preparation and our aim is to defeat Philippines”, Shrestha said the team was travelling Qatar for a victory despite of series of poor performances in the friendly matches including a defeat against Philippnes(0-3) back in April, 2014.

The travelling team included a 29 men travelling team including four youth prospects, Ananta Tamang, Bimal Gharti Magar, Anjan Bista and Dinesh Rajbanshi.

Coach Jack Stefanowski, assistant coach Hari Khadka, goalkeeper coach Ritesh Thapa and manager Rabindra Joshi are travelling along with the team.
