The two bottom placed sides in the group will meet each other in the champions league group G clash as Schalke face Sporting CP.
Schalke are unbeaten in their two matches in the group, however they have not won any which means they have shared points in both matches leaving them with two points in two matches which keeps them in third spot in the group. Meanwhile Sporting CP has won neither of their two matches so far and have just a single point with a draw second placed Maribor that takes on Chelsea in other match of the group.

Schalke has an equal share of goals forwaded and goals conceded in the group stage of the tournament so far with the German sides scoring two times and conceding two which keeps them away from defeat but also away from the victory.
Meanwhile the visiting side Sporting CP has a negative goal difference of one having scored just a single goal and conceding 2 in Sporting Libson’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea.
