Birat Jung Shahi – From Gold Medal to Suspension is harsh

All Nepal Football Association Birat Jung Shahi puts his dissatisfaction forward as he believes the decisions been made against ANFA are unfair.

Speaking in a press conference in ANFA complex, Satdobato, Shahi expressed that this has been a bitter time in his 34 years of career in Football.

“I have been working in football for 34 years. We have been awarded with gold medal from AFC for work in football. But now, we are awarded with suspension. From gold medal to suspension in short while does not make any sense.”, he said.

All Nepal Football Association treasurer Birat Jung Shahi has been accused of corruption charges and has been asked to step down along with ANFA President Ganesh Thapa, Vice President Lalit Krishna Shrestha, general secretary Dhirendra Pradhan.
