ANFA Academy of Nepal hammered Tripura Sports School 5-1 in the ongoing 55th Subroto International Cup.

ANFA Academy U-16 defeated Tripura Sports School 5-1 today at New Willingdon Camp, Delhi to make the strong hope of quarterfinals, which means Nepal side just need at least a draw in the upcoming match to confirm the spot in the next round of the tournament. After the today’s win over the Tripura Sports School, they are comfortable at the top of the group table.

From the winning side Ashok Thapa Magar and Kshitiz scored a brace while Roman Limbu scored single to register a comfortable win over Indian side.

ANFA Academy are grouped in a Group G along with Delhi, Tripura and Mizoram where ANFA Academy will take on the Mizoram School team in their last match of the group stage round.

The total of 32 teams are competing in the championship. Besides, the teams from India, there are a team each from Ukraine, Nepal , Indonesia, Brazil and Bangladesh.
