Mario Balotelli has been slow when its about running into the opponent box, which means he could be an ideal support creating some chances to Daniel Sturridge who has been a great runner into the box. However it has been Liverpool’s and Brendan Rodger’s nightmare so far as the English hitman has missed his last six Liverpool matches and has won none without him.

The England striker has been sidelined since September 5 where he was sidelined due to a thigh injury and has been slightly likely to be fit against West Brom Clash, however the boss says they have to wait and see for his fitness ahead of the match giving some rooms to expectations that the 25 years old striker could start for the reds.

When drawn onto the question of striker’s availability, Rodgers was coy, saying ‘we’ll have to wait and see’, a suggestion that he may be in contention to feature.

While Liverpool needs to bounce back from a Basel defeat in the Champions league group stage, Liverpool needs Daniel Sturridge’s availability in every way, either to bring some positiveness around the fans, to support struggling Mario Balotelli or to boost up the team morale.
