ANFA held a Press Conference to deny all the allegations regarding financial irregularities of the governing body today.

Speaking in the press conference, President of ANFA and Vice-President of AFC Ganesh Thapa clarified the reporters that there is no anywrongdoing by any financial means inside the body. He also asked Public Accounts Commission (PAC) to give sone time for the association to clarify those allegations.

“There is no one above the law. If we have done anything wrong, we all should be punished,” said the president. He also cleared that the association will help PAC in every move and provide them whatever is required.

Regarding the gate money collection of Dasarath Stadium, president Thapa said that all the concerned party have been clarified and the report is cleared by CIAA along with Gaurav’s case which was their personal transactions.

Also, president cleared that the projects from AFC and FIFA were not included in reports because  as per the FIFA’s laws it is not required to submit the audit report of consultant and consultancy of FIFA development projects.

Thapa said that ANFA have kept all the details of finance and have submitted copies to CIAA, PAC and Ministry as well. If required, we are ready to helpthe concerned body with whatever they ask as we have not done anywrondoings and are solely focused on development of football in Nepal.

“The case is not just about me but it’s about the whole association. If anybody is found guilty, they should be punished,” he said. “I have not received any letter from the PAC in my name, it has all been addressed in the name of the association and our General Secretary is dealing with it. The case is about ANFA.” The President ended.
