If you hardly believe that a Nepalese girl is fascinated to football, a 17 years old Kathmandu born Sophiya Thapa would prove you wrong.
Sofiya Thapa, commonly known as Sofiya Ronaldo in social site is already a popular teenage girl to most of the Football fans, especially from Nepal because of her free style football.
Aged 17, Sofiya has been long following Football and top of all, she is a decent Free Style Footballer.
“I used to watch my brothers play, that is why I got affected to Football. I do not remember when, but this is why Football tied a strong knot on me”, Sofiya told how she got absorbed in Football.
“I am Cristiano Ronaldo fan, I saw him doing free style with football freestyler Jeremy Lynch and that motivated me to give a try”, Sofiya explained how she got into free style Football.

Sofiya explained that Football is an interest to her than professionalism.
“I play for JYPK B3 team just because I want to play football. As a kid, I always wanted to play in Nepal but something pulled me back.”, Sofiya who trains with JYPK, a women’s Football team in Jyvaskyla , Finland, informed about her interest in Football.
“I would like to return Nepal in Future and help contributing Nepalese football, especially for the development of women’s Football.”, Sofiya who left Nepal on 13th may, 2013 said.
Sofiya follows Manchester United, loves Cristiano Ronaldo and wants to see Bharat Khawas while he plays for Nepal National Football team.
