Monaco  are going to host the match against the  Bayer Leverkusen in their opening match of the UEFA Champions League 2014/15 season Group Stage.

From group C. Bayer Leverkusen are going to visit Monaco home for the first match in the final round of the ongoing UEFA champions League. Host team Monaco were directly qualified for the final round being the runner up of France Ligue 1 meanwhile Bayer Leverlusen defeated Copenhagen 7-2 on aggregate in the play off round of the qualification. Both team are looking to start the campaign with the win in the very first match of the group stage.

Monaco will be playing without their regular player Aymen Adennour, Lacina Traore due to the injury while Elderson is also doubtful for the match. Home team will be playing in the 4-3-3 formation where Ocampos, Berbatov and Ferreira Carrasco will be playing from the attacking line where Moutinho, Kondogbia and Toulalan will be supporting them from the mid line.

Bayer Leverkusen will be missing Julian Brandt, Simon Rolfes and Kyiakos Papadopoulos due to the injury concern. German side might adopt 4-2-3-1 formation where Kiebling will be lone striker while Calhanoglu, Son and Bellarabi will be supporting from the attacking mid position.

Monaco have played six matches since last month and they have won the only two matches against Arsenal and Nantes while they face defeats against the Lorient, Bordeaux and Lyon. In the one match they held on 1-1 draw against the Lille.

Bayer Leverkusen are in the good form as they are undefeated since more than one month where they have won the four matches and held on draw in two matches in their last six fixtures.
