ANFA bids farewell to U-23

Nepali national u-23 team will travel Korea in order to participate in the Asian Games football starting from the 14th of September. Nepal u-23 recently visited Bangladesh for two friendly matches in which Nepal had a mixed result winning and loosing each.

Nepal is grouped with Japan, Kuwait and Iraq, in the group D which is also the Group Of Death in the tournament. The three senior players to complete the squad for Nepal are: Sagar Thapa (C), Bikram Lama and Sandip Rai.

Jack Staffenoski is the head coach and Ramesh Rayamajhi is the team manager.

The team is currently in the Nepal Olympic for the special program.
