Kuwait lost to Nepal 2-1 after Bimal Gharti Magar converted a penalty in the 82nd minute. Earlier, Nepal got a lead on 2nd minute after Shabib scored an own goal and Khaled scored the equalizer for Kuwait on the 21st minute of the second half.
In the post match conference after the match Kuwait coach Ibrahim Alshammari said.” we lost to the stronger side and we are not happy with the performance. Korea and Nepal both were strong.”
Ibrahim added.” We will play last match as a friendly match against Uzbekistan and will give the chance to the remaining players who were not featured in the earlier two matches.”
Kuwait will play their last match against Uzbekistan on 11th Sepetmeber.
