Jhapa XI vs APF : Preview – ANFA Cup Semifinal 1

Jhapa XI are through to the semifinals after beating Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club by 2-1 in the first match. Bishal Rai ‘B’ scored a brace for the winning team while Dipak Rai scored the equaliser for Manang Marshyangdi. APF on the other hand defeated Three Star to book a place in Semfinals of the tournament. Ranjan Bista scored the winning goal in last minute of second half injury time.

Team News:

Jhapa will be without their defender Hem Gurung who dislocated shoulder in their match against MMC. It is unlikely that he will play any part in the tournament. Hem is likely to be replaced by his replacement in the match, Gyan Bahadur Magar.

APF rested their striker Ranjan Bista last match but he came on as substitute to make the difference. Krishna Thapa is likely to giv him the starting birth ahead of somehow ineffective Top Bahadur Bista in this vital match. With Jhapa without their talisman defender, APF will be trying to take an early lead and aim for the final.

Probable Lineup:
