Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby is set to complete his season long loan move to Hamburg later today.

Reports in Germany has suggested that Lewis Holtby is currently undergoing a medical ahead of a proposed loan move to Hamburg. Holtby has hardly been in plans of Mauricio Pochettino after arrival of full squad in Tottenham Hotspur. Holtby played few games in pre-season under Pochettino but the arrival of players like Chadli, Paulinho, Dembele and Bentaleb has seen his chances slim.
Holtby signed for Tottenham from FC Schalke and failed to make an impact. He was loaned out to Fulahm last term and managed to garb just one goal with the relegated London team. Holtby had a chance to make or break in pre-season but it seems like Pochettino does not have any plans with him and is set to be loaned out with an option to buy the following year.
Tottenham are also in talks with Montpellier to sign midfielder Stambouli as they continue to monitor situation of Southampton wing-forward Jay Rodriguez.
