ANFA is organzing ‘ANFA Cup Football Tournament 2071″ from Bhadra 15 to Bhadra 27 in Dasarath Stadium.

In a press conference organized at National SPorts Council today, it was announced that eight clubs will take part in the tournament which wil be held in Knock-Out basis. ‘A’ Divsion Clubs Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club, Nepal Police CLub, Three Star CLub, Nepal Army Club, Nepal APF and CMG Sankata will take mart along with two clubs from outside the valley. Jhapa Football CLub and Morang Football Club will take part in this torunament as well.

As Dasarath Stadium is currently in renovation process, Nepal Sports Council advised ANFA to use the Northern side of Open Parapet and the closed parapet (VIP) only. ANFA has assigned ticket prices of Rs. 100 for Open Parapet and Rs. 300 for closed parapet for the first round matches. In the semis and final games, the ticket will rise to Rs. 200 and Rs. 500 for Open and Closed parapet repectively. The number of tickets are limited due to the renovation process and Fans are strictly prohibited to go to the construction area.

ANFAis providing Rs. 50,000 to all the participant team and regarding the visiting team from outside the valley, ANFA will cover all the travelling, fooding and lodging expenses of the teams from a day before to the day after of the torunament. 90% of match tickets will be shared equally by ANFA and clubs while 10% of the tickets will be given to Fund.

The winner of this torunament will bag Rs. 1 Million (Rs. 10 Lakhs) while the runners up will get Rs. 5 Lakhs. The teams to reach semi-finals will be awarded with Rs. 1 Lakhs each. Rs. 50,000 will be provided to the best player of each categories (FOrward, Midfielder, Defender and Goalkeeper). Best Coach of the torunament will be awarded with Rs. 50,000 as well. Best Player of the TOurnament will be awarded with a Motorcycle. The estimated bufget of the tournament is Rs. 4 Milion 9Rs. 50 lakhs.
