ANFA President Ganesh Thapa Appointed as CA Member

All Nepal Football Association Ganesh Thapa has been nominated as the new constitutional member Assembly for RPP-Nepal.

The cabinet meeting held on Friday has nominated All Nepal Football Association President Ganesh Thapa as the constituent assembly member.

The Supreme Court has prevented the nomination of those who took part in election as direct or proportional candidates as 26 members, and has required those who have made contribution at a national or international level.

It was likely either Ganesh Thapa, biological brother of brother of RPP-Nepal chairman Kamal Thapa or  Pyarajung Thapa, Kamal Thapa’s brother-in-law by relation were expected to fill the void, however Ganesh Thapa has been appointed for the CA member.

Ganesh Thapa has been recently involved in controversial figure for his alleged lack of transperancy in the management of ANFA’s funds .
