Nepal U16 team today departs for Thailand where they will set up a training camp before the tournament kicks off in September 6.
A total of 22 men squad along with four officials including, head coach Bal Gopal Maharjan, coach Sunil Shrestha, goalkeeper coach Mrigendra Prasad Mishra and manager Dinesh Byanjankar travelled along with the team.
Nepal team had trained in South Korea and Belgium where they played couple of friendly matches.
Nepal is in group C with Uzbekistan, North Korea and Kuwait, while captain Bimal Gharti Magar will miss the first match against Uzbekistan following his yellow card in the qualification round played at Dasarath Rangashala.

The top four of the tournament make it into the U17 world cup 2015 which will be played in Chile.
