UEFA Europa League Qualifiers: Tottenham Hotspur vs AEL Limassol

Tottenham Hotspur were victorious in the first leg away at Cyprus by 2-1 after falling behind for a Adrian Sardinero’s goal in the 14th minute. Tottenham’s comeback was inspired by introduction of Argentine midfielder Erik Lamela who assisted both the goals scored. Roberto Soldado scored the equaliser in 74th minute of the match and Harry Kane scored the winner four minutes after the equaliser.

Tottenham won their league match this weekend comofortable against Queens Park Rangers by 4-0. Erik Lamela, who was the star of the match in the first leg of this fixture starred in this match as well with couple of assists and excellent display in build ups. Nacer Chadlii grabbed a brace while Emmanuel Adebayor and Eric Dier scored one goal each for the home team.

Limassol were also victorious in their domestic league game against Nea Salamis by 2-0. Valentinos Sielis scored the first goal in an hour mark for the Cyprus champions. Luciano Bebe doubled the lead for Limassol and finished off the match.
