Nepal U-17 lose 5-0 to Anderlecht U-19 in a friendly match

Nepal U-17 team lost to Anderlecht U-19 side in a friendly match played in Belgium.

Nepalese team, who are currently training in Belgium for the preparations of AFC U-16 Championship lost out to Anderlecht U-19 side after conceding five goals in the first half. The second half was better for Nepal as Anderlecht’s attack were capitalized.

Bimal Gharti Magar, who is training with Anderlecht captained Nepalese side for this match but had few parts to play as the team failed big time in attacking third. Nepalese team are set to play Uzbekistan in the tournament opener to be held in Thailand and captain Bimal will not be available for selection for that match due to suspension.

Nepalese team will fly to Thailand 2 weeks before the tournament and prepare well there as they look to be set with the environment of the host country.
