Nepal U23 Defeats African United in Exhibition Match

Nepal U23 team that has been preparing for Asian games which will be played in South Korea displayed superb first half performance to sideline assembled African United 5-0 in a match played at ANFA complex, Satdobato.

Prakash Budathoki converted two spot kicks while Amar Dangol, Sushil KC scored one each followed by Ashim Jung Karki’s terrific free kick goal that got the U23 side five goals in the first half.

The second half of the match saw no competitive display from either side as the U23 settled in 5-0 victory.

National team stars Rabin Shrestha, Biraj Maharjan, Bikram Lama, Prakash Budathoki, Ashim Jung Karki were featured in the U23 side.
