Brazil’s Defeat Cause Suicide in Nepal

A Girl in Sunsari district commits suicide after her beloved team Brazil faced a humiliating defeat against Germany in the Semifinals.

Pragya Thapa, 15 hanged herself to death after her beloved side Brazil faced humiliating defeat in the world cup semifinals of the ongoing tournament.

“She was disturbed and anxious to see her favorite team going down at the semifinal match against Germany,” Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sudip Raj Bhandari  was quoted in Republica National daily online adding, “ She hanged herself in the 2nd floor of the house as people at home were busy in other household chores,.” 

Pragya was studying in 10th grade and was disturbed ever since Brazil lost to Germany in the Semifinals, the family members informed Republica online.
