Marquinhos has failed to make his mark at French Club

Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1 in Copa Del Rey finals and the famous Gareth Bale goal is just a proof to show the defensive woes Barcelona are having. With Calres Puyol leaving the club, they were in need of a top quality centre back. Javier Mascherano also signed a contract extension with the club and Gerard Pique still has years to serve. Marc Bartra is also a young player with future in his hands and Luis ENrique will be boosted defensively with the news breaking.

Luis Enrique served for Roma in 2011/12 season and then Marquinhos was also signed by Roma for 2012/13 season. Enrique will have a chance to work with his new signing with World Cup participants on duty. Enrique will also look to play well with Rakitic who captained Seviulla to Europa League triumph after beating Benfica in a penalty shoot-out. Rakitic has already said he is happy that the move has gone through and will give everything for the club.
