All Nepal Football Association revealed following plans aim a meeting held at ANFA complex today.
Home and Away National League
All Nepal Football Association announce home and away national league initial plan amid a meeting held at ANFA complex, Satdobato.
According to the Football Association, at most 12 teams will clash in a home and away pattern in the national league. ANFA has already discussed the initial plans with A division clubs.
All Nepal Football Association President Ganesh Thapa also announced that there will be no league football this year, while top 8 teams from last season’s standings will participate in the national league while other four clubs will be qualified from among Morang, Sunsari, Banke, Kailali, Parsa, Rupandehi, Morang, Jhapa and Kaski.
The prize money will be 1 crore for the winner while 2.5 crores will be distributed as total prize money.
Improved District League
All Nepal Football Association has announced to manage the district league. A total budget of 90 lakhs has been allocated for the District league, where every district FA will get from 75000 to 200000 for preparation of the tournament.
Youth Football Project
ANFA has announced a youth football project in 45 districts out of which 12 to 16 districts will compete in U16 football tournament.
U16 team Preparation
ANFA has also announced a pre plan to prepare Nepal U16 team for upcoming AFC U16 championship. A foreign coach will be assigned to the team and the team will hold a camp outside Nepal for the preparation of the AFC u16 championship. ANFA has already requested National Sports Council and Sports Ministry funds for the plan.
President Ganesh Thapa revealed that the U16 team will be sent abroad for training two months prior the game.
National Team Preparation
ANFA has announced its plan to play friendly matches with an aim to prepare the national team for upcoming SAFF championship and gather experience for the players.
Increased Incentives to Players and Officials
ANFA has announced their plan in an increment in salary for the players, official and referee.
Foreign Coaches
ANFA has announced that it will soon introduce foreign coaches to the Nepal National Team and U16 team. The talks are ongoing and will be announced with 1 to 1 and half month.
Resignation Approval
ANFA has approved the resignation of Ratna Sumsher Rana as the assistant Secretary.
Asks Clarification
All Nepal Football Association has asked written Clarification with NIBL Friends club for a complaint in court against ANFA, while ANFA VPs Karma Tshering Sherpa and Bijaya Narayan Manandhar are asked to produce a written clarification for not attending the meeting.
Medical Allowance
ANFA has announced a medical allowance to former National team player Anil Bandhu Rupakheti. Rs 1 Lakh has been announced for Rupakheti while 2 lakhs and 50 thousand for former Nepal National team player Wai B Ghale.
