Manchester United has announced that Manager David Moyes has been sacked.

David Moyes, who was appointed at the start of the season has been sacked by Manchester United. The Scottish Manager left Everton last year to join the Defending champions at the start of this season.

The club today confirmed the news via their official twitter account. The speculation was surrounding since last week and  following defeat against Everton, the manager has been relieved of his duties.

Screenshot_1Moyes succeeded fellow Scotsman Sir Alex Ferguson, who is regarded as the one of the best manager of Modern Football. Moyes failed to live upto the expectations and left Manchester united in the 7th position. His team was knocked out by Bayern Munich from Champions League in the quarterfinal stages while Swansea knocked them out in the FA Cup.

Moyes Managed 51 games for United out of which he won 27, drew 9 and lost remaining 15. The win percentage was 52%.
