New Futsal Arena inaugurated by Minister

Minister for Youth and Sports Purushottam Paudel inaugurated Swoyambhu Recreation Center located near Swoyambhu.

Swoyambhu Recreation Centre was inaugurated by Minister for Youth and Sports Purushottam Paudel today. The Centre consisits of A Futsal Arena and a Swimmin Pool. Tharchin Gurung, propieter of the Centre said that their aim is to run the center as full fledged Fitness Center.

The Futsal Arena is one of a kind in the country with international-standard Indoor Futsal Rubber mat. The Swimming pool is from 3 feet to 6 feet deep.

The inauguration was followed by a friendly match between Nepal Sports Journalists Forum [NSJF] and Former Manang and Nepalese Internationals, which NSJF won by 12-8.
