Nepalese International Defender Biraj Maharjan is set to sign for Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club.

The defender today exclusively revealed givemegoal.com that he will be plying his trade for the League Champions from next season.

Maharjan played for Manang in this season’s knockout tournaments like AAHA Gold Cup and Budhasubba Gold Cup as the defender’s parent club were not taking part in the tournaments.

Biraj arrived at Three Star Club after playing for New Road Team in AFC Presidents’ Cup in 2010. He won the League Title with Three Star Club last year and has played in all the tournaments Nepal has taken part in recent years.

Maharjan now will play for Manang who lost defender Nabin Neupane on a year ban and had to play Sujal Shrestha out of position towards the end o the league campaign. The length of the contract and final contract signing is yet to be done.
