The assembled foreign recruits team, African United bag 16th BudhaSubba gold cup title as they defeat Sahara FC 4-3 in the penalty shootout. The final of the tournament remained goal less in the regulation time and the extra time of the game.

African United started dominating the first half of the tournament; however they failed to scored, thanks to the superb guard from Sagar Gurung, the best goal keeper of the tournament.

Sahara FC improved in the second half; however they failed to score any goals leading the game into two halves of five minutes of extra time. The extra time remained goal less which was followed by penalty shoot-out.

Anil Ojha takes the 1st kick and Binaya saves it. [0-0]

Cissoko takes the 1st Kick for African United and he scores towards the top-left of the goalie.[0-1]

Suman Lama takes the second kick for Sahara and scores low right to the goalie. [1-1]

Akeem takes the second spotkick and he scores towards goalkeeper’s top eight. [1-2]

Bhupal Gurung takes third kick and Binaya gets his hands towards right side but the ball sneaks past him. [2-2]

Castory Donald Mumbara takes the third spotkick and he cooly drives it past the goalkeeper’s left. [2-3]

Goalkeeper Sagar Gurung takes fourth spotkick and it is scored towards goalkeeper’s right.[3-3]

Peter Segun takes penultimate spot kick and he scores towards the top. [3-4]

Bijay Gurung takes the final kick and Binaya saves in the middle.[3-4]
