Philippines have set friendly date with Nepal for their preparation of the AFC Challenge cup that kicks off in May 19. Philippines are grouped with Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Laos in group B of the Challenge cup and they will be preparing themselves with couple of Friendly matches.
Nepal that played a 2-0 defeat to Yemen in their last Friendly match was good on possession but failed on final test. Nepal failed to create serious goal scoring opportunities and look puny at the front line.
Although the league’s best goal scorer Karna Limbu was introduced for the first time in the squad, he was introduced late to show any impact in the game.
Philippines are ranked high above Nepal in the FIFA Ranking. Ranked 130th, Philippines are 30 position ahead of 160 placed Nepal.
