Kameel Tareq and Mohammed Baroies scored a goal each for the winning side as Yemen that ranks 25 positions below Nepal in FIFA ranking flyover Nepal in a friendly match played at Doha, Qatar.

Nepal National Team had an impressive control over the ball in the first half; however the regular problem in the front line kept the Gorkhalis behind at the end of the full time.

The first half of the game saw an early attack from Yemen, however Kiran Chemjong stood tall in 5th minute of the game to deny early threat from Yemeni forward that remained physically sound.

Despite of a poor start in first 10 minutes, Nepal controlled later minutes of the initial half, however failed to make any impressive shots on target to end the first half scoreless.

Nepal started the second half impressively; however it was Yemen that stroked first utilizing a bushed display from Nepal. Kameel Tareq fired Yemen forward in 58th minute of the game to give them the lead. Mohammed Baroies doubled the lead for Yemen to make it 2-0 as Nepal lost confidence conceding two goals in 10 minutes succession.

Although Coach Raju Kaji Shakya made couple of changes, handing Karna Limbu and Ashim Jung Karki their debut for the national team, Karna made small impact in the front line with pace and attacks, but it was already late for Nepal that handed a 2-0 victory to Yemen.
