The maximum number title winner of Aaha Rara Gold Cup favorite Nepal Police Club will play their first match in 12th edition of the Gold Cup in the second quarter final of the tournament.

Dharan FC that has fielded most of the players from previously ended Martyr’s Memorial A Division League second runner-up  Laxmi Bank Three Star Club entered the quarter final of the tournament defeating Nepal Army Club in the pre quarter finals after a 1-0 victory in which Kiran Chemjong was adjudged the man of the match.

Nepal Police club is without their regular captain Jumanu Rai and the team will be leaded by Nepali International Bhola Silwal who feels pressure to captain his team on his first ever tournament as a Nepal Police Club captain.

Police Club will also be without their regular left back Rabin Shrestha who has missed the action two months back after he picked up an injury against Nepal Army Club.
