Yogesh Gurung’s goal celebration

The Dream team has shattered dream of Best Team to register win after 8 years against their arch rival in the league. Yogesh Gurung’s master piece stopped MMC from going too far away from the chasers. The highlight of the match was a Nabin’s red card which came out to be turning point of the match.

A moment of Magic from Yogesh Gurung put Three Stars in front after he connected with a sweet shot just from outside the box. The game was quite close and both the team gave their all in the game. Both the team were rocked by injuries to their key players in early part of the game as Three Star missed Dodoz and Leonel Stephen was forced out for Manang.

Manang were gradually shifting into attack as the game goes on with the substitution and Three Star stuck onto their plans with the game going quite well. Manang came out attacking in the second half and were rewarded with some good chances but couldn’t capitalise well to be on front. Sulav Maskey’s shot off Anil’s cross was highlight of the match for MMC while Bishal shrestha denied Three Star in numerous occasions.

The win means Three Star close the gap on Manang to just 2 points and stands second on the table with 24 points. Manang’s second loss of the league means they missed a chance to go 8 points clear and put the pressure on defending champions.  Manang though still are on top with 26 points from 12 games.
