MFC 2-2 TSC – Karna Limbu Steal a Point for Machhindra

Three Star club come from behind to take a lead, however Karna Limbu makes it all leveled at the end of the game.

NMB Bank Machhindra FC took the lead early in the game as Bishal Rai’s heroic was put forward by a cool Karna finish in the 14^th minute of the game. Bishal Rai did well to dribble pass two defenders before finally launching a ball to Karna Limbu who found him one vs one position with the goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong. Karna managed to place the ball in the far post and the ball found the back of the net after deflected on the bar.

Machhindra played a beautiful game from the start of the first half as they managed to get an early goal and created some good moves, however Three Star controlled last 10 minutes of the half, one of a notable chance coming in 45^th minute when Biraj Maharjan’s cross was followed by a shot from Saheed who found himself unlucky to get denied by the bar.

Dodoz equalized for Three Star Club in the 56^th minute when his powerful shot from six yard led no chance for Machhindra goalkeeper Dinesh.

Three Star looked comparatively improved in the second half, Nirajan Khadka’s shot direct in search of the goal went very close to the target in 67^th minute. Four minutes Later Three Star club could go ahead and find a lead when Smile’s ball from almost center found Dodoz who did well to beat the offside track and score in a single challenge with goalkeeper Dinesh.

Karna Limbu scored his second and second for the team to deny Three Star club full points in the game. Karna Limbu enjoyed Kiran’s improper position the head the ball for goal.

Machhindra FC escaped last minute drama as Santosh Sahukhala missed two great opportunities to take Three Star leveled with MMC in the league table, however his first open header found the cross bar before he failed to utilize a single battle with Machhindra goalkeeper Dinesh Karki.
