Pramesh Gurung – A Youngster Dreams Big

A story of 19 years old youngster who dreams big to play for Real Madrid as he wants to make Nepal proud.

Pramesh Gurung, a 19 years old youngster may be an unknown name but he dreams big to play for Real Madrid and make Nepal known worldwide.

Well, it is said, nothing stops a desire, Pramesh as a kid played Football with a plastic ball in refugee camp until he settled in USA along with his father Lank Raj Gurung and mother Ganga Gurung on a Bhutanese resettlement program then trained in Euro Football Academy in Colorado.

The Euro Football Academy is a academy club that trains and tryouts players to different international clubs mostly from Portugal and Spain.

The 19 year who played Football with a plastic ball as a child got a chance to play with the Boca Junior reserve team on which he even scored a goal as an attacking midfielder as his team won 3-0.

My friends have been recommended in different clubs and my coaches oftenly talk about making my way to Sporting Libson or Valencia FC academy but I don’t have any citizenship which is the only problem. We have applied for USA citizenship and hope if its approved, I will get a chance” , the 5’8’’ Gurung told givemegoal.com

“I play as an attacking midfielder but my coaches recommend me to play as a winger” , Pramesh told when asked about his preferred position.

The youngster inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo whom he prays as a God aims to play for Real Madrid one day and make Nepal proud.

“I aim to play for Real Madrid and the USA national team by 2018 and one day, I will make Nepal proud”, he concluded.
